Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and Services Covered

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through galaflowry for access to professional resources and courses focused on studio production in motion. These include materials on studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and workflows for television news and live shows. The policy covers digital subscriptions, one-time course purchases, and related services offered to customers in the United Kingdom. It does not extend to third-party products or services accessed via external links.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for consumers. Additional charges may apply for premium add-ons or extended access periods, which are clearly shown before checkout. galaflowry reserves the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations or regulatory changes, but such adjustments do not affect existing confirmed orders.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Payments are authorised in real time through secure third-party processors compliant with PCI DSS standards. All transactions use encryption to protect card details. Authorisation occurs immediately upon submission, and funds are held until the order is confirmed or cancelled.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Upon successful payment, customers receive an email confirmation detailing the order. A binding contract forms when galaflowry sends this confirmation. Access to digital content begins after confirmation, subject to the terms outlined here. Customers should retain the confirmation for their records.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, customers in the UK have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase to cancel without reason for most services. For digital content, cancellation is possible before download or access begins. Once access is granted, the right may be lost if the customer consents to immediate performance.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available for cancellations within the cooling-off period or if the service is faulty. Digital downloads, completed courses, and promotional bundles are generally non-refundable once accessed. Subscriptions may be cancelled but pro-rata refunds apply only in cases of demonstrated error by galaflowry.

Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact [email protected] or 020 7713 9800 with your order number, purchase date, and reason. Requests must be submitted in writing via the contact form on the Contacts page. Include proof of purchase and any relevant details. Requests received outside the eligible period will not be processed.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification

Each request undergoes review within 10 business days. galaflowry assesses eligibility based on the policy criteria. Customers receive email notification of approval or rejection with reasons provided. Approved refunds proceed to processing; rejected cases include guidance on next steps or appeals.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Refunds return to the original payment method. Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, while PayPal refunds process faster. Bank transfers may take up to 14 days. galaflowry notifies customers once the refund is issued.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers

Digital content and subscriptions are subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Access credentials are non-transferable. Promotional offers carry the same refund terms unless specified otherwise at purchase. Early termination of subscriptions incurs no penalty beyond the loss of remaining access period.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments result in order suspension until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Chargebacks trigger account review and may lead to service suspension. Suspected fraud leads to immediate order cancellation and reporting to relevant authorities.

Mandatory Consumer Rights That Cannot Be Excluded

This policy operates alongside UK consumer protections under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK GDPR. Nothing herein excludes rights to goods or services of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described. Customers retain rights to remedies for breaches regardless of this policy.
